Our Mission
AI makes syntax cheap. Judgment is expensive.
SwiftSherpas exists to bridge the gap between knowing how to code and knowing how to ship. We believe the best way to become a senior engineer is to work alongside experienced engineers on real products with real constraints.
Our program focuses on the skills that matter: App Store review, production bugs, user feedback, maintenance, and the judgment calls that can't be learned from tutorials alone.
What We Offer
Educational Sessions
Live sessions covering iOS development, Swift best practices, architecture patterns, and shipping strategies.
Mentorship
Work directly with experienced engineers who've shipped apps used by millions of people.
Real Projects
Contribute to real iOS apps that ship to the App Store with real users and real feedback.
Potential Compensation
Verified contributors may receive contractual royalties or bonuses for shipped deliverables on select projects.
Why We Built This
The gap between "knowing how to code" and "shipping production software" is massive. Bootcamps teach syntax. Tutorials show happy paths. But real software development is about handling edge cases, managing App Store rejections, fixing production bugs at 2am, and making judgment calls with incomplete information.
We built SwiftSherpas because we believe:
-
The best learning happens on real projects with real stakes
-
Mentorship accelerates growth faster than any course
-
Contributors who ship real work deserve recognition and potential compensation
-
Everything should be transparent, legal, and sustainable
